Data controller
For personal data you share through www.perdist.com, the data controller is PERDIST under Turkish Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK). For visitors located in the European Union, the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) are also taken into account.
Which data do we process?
We process only the information you provide when filling in a form or corresponding with us, plus the technical records the site needs to operate:
- Identity and contact details: first name, last name, e-mail, phone, company name
- Request content: the product you are interested in, estimated quantity and your message
- Technical records: IP address, browser type, request time and pages visited
- For the newsletter, only your e-mail address
Purposes and legal basis
Your data is processed for the purposes below, relying on the contractual necessity, legitimate interest and explicit consent grounds of KVKK Article 5:
- Answering your quotation and information requests and preparing quotations
- Running order processes and communicating with you
- Keeping the site secure and preventing abuse
- Measuring site performance with anonymous statistics
- Sending the newsletter where you have given explicit consent
Data transfers
We do not sell personal data or share it with third parties for advertising. Transfers are limited to the following:
- Service providers supplying hosting, e-mail and analytics infrastructure (acting as processors)
- Competent public authorities where a legal obligation arises
- The relevant supplier, where your request requires it and with your knowledge
Cookies
The site uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies — Required for session security and for the forms to work; they cannot be disabled.
- Analytics cookies — Visit statistics are collected with Google Analytics using IP anonymisation; ad personalisation is switched off.
- Preference cookies — Remember your language choice and form drafts in your browser.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may stop the forms from working.
Retention period
Request and quotation records are kept for the duration of the business relationship and the retention periods required by law; afterwards they are deleted, destroyed or anonymised. Newsletter subscriptions end as soon as you unsubscribe.
Your rights
Under Article 11 of KVKK you may apply to the data controller to:
- Learn whether your data is processed and request information
- Ask about the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly
- Learn the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Türkiye or abroad
- Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data
- Request deletion or destruction where the legal conditions are met
- Object to results that affect you adversely and claim compensation for damage
Security
Site traffic is encrypted with TLS, the administration panel is protected by password and access restrictions, and form submissions are rate limited. Only staff whose duties require it can access the data.
